SETTING GOALS FOR JUNE


Half of 2016 has already passed by and I can't wrap my head around it. While these past few months have been filled with ups and downs, I feel like I can't keep track of what has happened and the progress I have made personally. This month I want to switch it up in terms of setting my monthly goals. I feel like every month I make a list of things I want to work on but I lose track and forget them as the month goes by. So for June I thought I would start a goals journal to keep track of my objectives, and my progress, throughout the month.

Setting goals is crucial for me because I strongly believe in personal growth and self-awareness. I take each month as an opportunity to work on things about myself since I'm constantly changing and going through situations. 

My goals journal will consist of three sections each month which are: my set goals, weekly follow ups, and a monthly recap. I think it's important to tune in to your mind and take a step back to see what can be improved, to see what would be the next step to making yourself the best person you can be. It's easy to get wrapped up in the little things in life and in the societal mentality of go-go-go and never taking a break. And when you get lost in that, you lose your essence and turn into a product of society that is simply alive rather than truly living. 

This is why I like to set goals for myself every month, to remind myself that I am human, and I am trying my best to be the truest me I can be. 

My goals for June are

1. Trust my instincts
2. Fuel my body with good foods & energy
3. Make the most of my fringe hours
