Stuff & Things | Birthday Surprises

Yesterday was my best friends birthday, and this year I wanted it to be a bit more personal and I also just wanted to try something new. So when I stumbled upon this youtube video, I knew I wanted to make my friend some pretty cool rad shirts. This won't really be a how-to post, more of a "Hey guys look what I did!!" kind of post.

It was really easy to do, and I would love to make more shirts! Although, I did find ironing it was a bit tough because of the edges, but I think that had more to do with the paper I bought then with the actual project itself. If you're going to watch the video to learn how to make it, please write the link down or just click here, because she doesn't write down the link in the description box!

Since it was my first time doing this, I decided just to make two shirts and if it came out bad well, it's the thought that counts eh?

I ended up buying these print out sheets from Michaels, and honestly, there were so many to choose from I ended up choosing the cheapest one because 1) college student and 2) college student.

One of the hardest parts was choosing the images, I kept going back and forth between different ones. I absolutely loved the Me + Wifi one but I had made the image too small and the size of it was too awkward for the shirt. You'll see what image I chose down below!

These were the end results of this cute little DIY, which I must say I think came out pretty cute considering it was my first time at doing any DIY project basically.

I know it's not the best quality in the world, but I honestly thought they were so cute and I can't wait to make some for myself. Especially just to lounge around in and to have for summer, which I've been missing so much. Are there any DIY things you'd like to try or you have tried? I hope you're all having a lovely Tuesday!
